Tropical Suns Set

I haven't done much painting in my life, and all of it before I was 30. This is one of the few that amounted to anything, and I don't even own it. The original was sold to a friend who moved to San Francisco, and all I had was a very poor photo taken in his living room. It was dark, blurry, shadowed by a cabinet on one side, and distored by taking the shot at an angle. But I spent a couple of hours with the snapshot a day ago, and manged to Photoshop it into this. I'm not sure, but if memory serves right, the painting is more yellow than this, but further tinkering with the colour balance tended to throw everything else off.
